Ran low on fuel earlier than expected driving home from Dublin airport after dropping off Megan and Clara and so pulled off the motorway just after the Cork turnoff near Abbeyleix where my grandfather was from. Lo and behold there is a full HGV fuel station with freshly built service station complete with Supermacs and Papa John's and espresso station from which I am now drinking a chai latte. This wasn't here until very recently. The Irish economy must be improving a lot, sitting here reminds me of the pre crisis days when everything was new and fancy. Only difference this time is everything is a lot cheaper!
