Just watched the amazing first episode of Ash vs Evil Dead which contains the original actor, director and producer from the Evil Dead movies, except with thirty years added to all as that's how long it's been already folks. I was very surprised how well they pulled it off, it's actually higher quality than the original movies because well everyone is much more experienced, the cameras are much better and there is vastly more budget now, that said I haven't seen a single trace of CGI, it's all old fashioned special effects. They are also clearly relaxed because everybody is famous and rich now, so they have nothing to prove and are just having fun which is very evident. Very highly recommended!
