Last few weeks been playing Half Life 2 as I know I won't get any free time again until after Christmas, and probably not much at all after the baby arrives. It's a very old game, nearly a decade old, and despite being the highest rated game of all time I have never much cared for it (it was boring, and it lacks ... soul or something). Last night I finally finished it: still boring to play, still weirdly devoid of emotional meat. But it does have some good moments, and I'd personally rank it about as good as Bulletstorm which also suffered from being boring and a bit tediously empty, so not a best game of all time, but I'll give it a Niall top twenty.
