Today is do my Canadian tax return day. The tax rebate from it will hopefully buy us our first Canadian car. Auto insurance here is crazy, min $2000 a year and everybody sues everybody for car anything all the time. Pedestrian casualties are very common here, not helped by the cross now sign not requiring motorists to stop I.e. they can and do plough on. I've had several near misses myself, as has Megan!
